Damn, bud…I can’t believe it’s already been a year since you changed my life.
I remember it was just after midnight when my parents left the house because your mom had to deliver you in an emergency delivery. Everyone was scared…but you made it.

You were 1 lb. 3 oz. and seeing you for the very first time terrified me. But, I always loved you, no matter what.

Your life was a roller coaster, one that we all went on together.
All the doctors said that you wouldn’t last long, but you proved them wrong, didn’t you?
You proved everyone wrong, Big Guy…and I’m so proud you did.

I hope you’re still wearing the GL ring I gave you, it should fit.
